By allowing you to physically adjust the lens at the front of the scope, you can ensure the target image and the reticle are on the same focal plane. Whether you’re shooting a rat at 10 yards in a dark barn or a target at 50 yards on the range, the image will be pin-sharp and your point of impact will remain true. This feature alone makes the 14102 one of the most popular choices for sub-12ft/lb air rifle users in the UK and beyond.

The Vantage line is famous for its “glass-to-price” ratio. Hawke utilizes 11-layer fully multi-coated lenses throughout the entire optical path. This multi-coating reduces internal reflections and maximizes light transmission, providing a bright, high-contrast image. Even on 4x magnification, the level of detail is staggering—allowing you to spot a twitching ear in thick brush or a pellet hole on a card at 30 meters.

While modern “grid” reticles have their place, the Mil Dot remains the gold standard for many veterans. The Hawke Vantage 14102 features a Second Focal Plane (SFP) Mil Dot reticle, meaning the dots are spaced exactly 3.44 MOA apart at 4x magnification.
