Description

Armorer Works Custom 1911 AG-NE2001 .177 CO2 Blowback Air Pistol

The Armorer Works Custom 1911 AG-NE2001 in .177/4.5mm blends the timeless single-stack profile of John Browning’s classic sidearm with contemporary race-gun styling and snappy gas blowback operation. Driven by a standard 12g CO2 capsule housed within its drop-free magazine, this pistol gives action plinkers and tactical shooting enthusiasts realistic slide movement, manageable slimline ergonomics, and responsive trigger operation.

At Huntsman Sports, we recommend the AW Custom 1911 AG-NE2001 for shooters who prefer the classic, slender grip reach of the 1911 platform combined with positive mechanical slide cycling for fast-paced backyard target sessions.

1911 Architecture and Custom Ergonomics

• Classic 1911 grip frame: Features the traditional slim single-stack frame geometry, offering a natural point of aim and comfortable reach for shooters of all hand sizes.
• Custom AG-NE2001 slide serrations: Engineered with front and rear cocking grooves to deliver positive traction when racking the action manually.
• Extended 1911 control layout: Fitted with an extended beavertail grip safety to prevent hammer bite, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a positive slide release lever.

Gas Action and Ballistic Delivery

• Crisp CO2 blowback cycle: Vents pressurized CO2 on every release to cycle the slide sharply rearward, providing authentic recoil impulse and locking back cleanly on empty.
• Semi-automatic firing mechanism: Automatically resets the hammer during slide return, enabling fluid strings of fire against knockdown metal plates and reactive targets.
• .177/4.5mm bore: Yields consistent projectile velocity and flat trajectory suited for plinking courses and standard card targets.

Why choose the Armorer Works Custom 1911 AG-NE2001?

Choose the Armorer Works AG-NE2001 if you appreciate the legendary balance, pointability, and slender profile of the 1911 platform enhanced with crisp blowback realism and modern custom styling. If your shooting demands a wide double-stack grip with maximum magazine capacity, an Olympic 10-metre match trigger, or full-power vermin control, an alternative platform or dedicated rifle will be better suited. In compliance with UK law, air pistols are restricted to persons aged 18 and over and must be collected in person with valid photo ID or delivered to a Registered Firearms Dealer.

FAQ

How does the AG-NE2001 differ from the Armorer Works Hi-Capa models?

The AG-NE2001 is built on the classic, slender 1911 single-stack frame geometry, whereas Hi-Capa models utilise a wider double-stack style lower frame.

Does this pistol feature functioning blowback recoil?

Yes. Each shot vents a portion of CO2 gas to propel the slide rearward, delivering physical recoil feedback and cocking the action for the following shot.

What power source is required to operate the pistol?

It operates on standard 12g CO2 capsules that install directly into the removable magazine housing.
