Armorer Works Custom 1911 AG-NE2201 .177 CO2 Blowback Air Pistol

The Armorer Works Custom 1911 AG-NE2201 in .177/4.5mm brings custom race-gun refinement to the classic single-stack 1911 platform. Driven by a standard 12g CO2 capsule housed within its drop-free magazine, this variant incorporates custom slide machining and modern frame contours to give action plinkers and practical shooting enthusiasts crisp mechanical cycling, authentic weapon manipulation, and fast target transitions.

At Huntsman Sports, we recommend the AW Custom 1911 AG-NE2201 for shooters who prefer the classic, slender grip reach of the 1911 platform combined with positive mechanical slide cycling for fast-paced backyard target sessions.

1911 Architecture and Custom Ergonomics

• Classic single-stack ergonomics: Features the slim, naturally pointing 1911 grip profile, offering comfortable reach to the trigger for varied hand sizes.
• Distinctive AG-NE2201 slide styling: Precision-machined with custom cocking serrations and relief cuts that reduce reciprocating mass for swift cycling and positive slide purchase.
• Extended competition controls: Fitted with an extended beavertail grip safety, accessible thumb safety levers, and an enlarged slide stop for positive control without breaking your master grip.

Gas Action and Ballistic Delivery

• Crisp CO2 blowback cycle: Vents pressurized CO2 on every release to snap the slide sharply rearward, delivering satisfying recoil impulse and locking back on empty.
• Semi-automatic mechanism: Automatically resets the hammer during battery return, enabling fluid strings of fire against knockdown metal plates and reactive targets.
• .177/4.5mm bore: Delivers clean projectile flight paths and consistent downrange accuracy for action courses, reactive steel plates, and card targets.

Why choose the Armorer Works Custom 1911 AG-NE2201?

Choose the Armorer Works AG-NE2201 if you appreciate the legendary balance, pointability, and slender profile of the 1911 platform enhanced with crisp blowback realism and modern custom styling. If your shooting demands a wide double-stack grip with maximum magazine capacity, an Olympic 10-metre match trigger, or full-power vermin control, an alternative platform or dedicated rifle will be better suited. In compliance with UK law, air pistols are restricted to persons aged 18 and over and must be collected in person with valid photo ID or delivered to a Registered Firearms Dealer.

FAQ

How does the AG-NE2201 differ within the Armorer Works 1911 series?

The AG-NE2201 is a dedicated model configuration in the AW Custom 1911 line featuring its own specific slide contouring, styling cuts, and finish while retaining the authentic single-stack 1911 ergonomics and CO2 gas blowback action.

Does this pistol feature functioning blowback recoil?
